This installation of European art features the monumental Rinaldo and Armida, one of the world's finest paintings by Sir Anthony van Dyck, as well as masterpieces by Frans Hals, Rembrandt van Rijn, and Jean Baptiste Siméon Chardin.

The galleries are integrated with a selection of decorative arts, from jeweled snuffboxes to a rare desk by Henri Reisener, and an ongoing rotation of works on paper dating from the 15th century, including etchings and engravings by Rembrandt and Albrecht Dürer.

The Museum’s collection of 19th-century French sculpture by Auguste Rodin and his teacher, Antoine-Louis Barye is on display, as are three galleries of Renaissance and Medieval works, including Botticelli’s Virgin and Child.
