Museum Hours & Information

The BMA is regularly open 10am-5pm, Wednesday through Sunday. The BMA Sculpture Garden is open Wednesday through Sunday, from 10 a.m. to dusk unless the temperature is 94 degrees or higher, or 40 degrees or lower. Please call ahead at 443-573-1700 if you are planning to visit. Check the forecast here.

The BMA, Sculpture Garden, and BMA Shop are closed New Year's Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. More info

Getting Here

The BMA is located near Maryland Transit Administration buses CityLink Silver (formerly No. 3) and LocalLink 51 (formerly No. 11.) Use the MTA's trip planner to estimate travel time and plan your route.

The Charm City Circulator is a free shuttle that runs four routes in Baltimore City, generally arriving every 10 -15 minutes at the designated stops on each route. You can take the Purple Route to the BMA. Hop on and off the Northbound bus on Charles at 31st Street.
