Accessibility

We welcome all visitors to experience our collection. We always want you to feel comfortable participating in and enjoying our exhibitions and events, and seek to give every visitor an equal opportunity to experience the art.

Visitors who use mobility aids

The Museum and tiered Sculpture Gardens are accessible to wheelchairs and those with limited mobility. Wheelchairs are available free of charge at each Checkroom, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Visitors who use service animals

Service animals are welcome in the Museum. Please check in at one of our Visitor Services Desks upon arrival.

Visitors who are Blind or have low vision, or are Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing

Tours for visitors who are blind or have low vision, sign language interpreted tours, and selected foreign language tours are available upon request with a minimum of 2-weeks notice. Please call 443-573-1825 or email tours@artbma.org for details.

Induction loops are available upon request at the Visitor Services Desks.

Braille maps are available upon request at the Visitor Services Desks.

Parking

Free parking for visitors with disability placards or tags is available in the East and West parking lots. Bring your parking ticket to the Visitor Services Desk for verification and validation. A limited number of parking spaces for those with disability tags or plates are also available in front of the accessible entrance, located next to the Sculpture Garden. Museum Map (PDF)
