Exhibition & Collection Tour
Wednesdays, 2pm · 60 minutes.
Learn about current exhibitions or works in the collection.
First Friday Curatorial Tour
First Friday of most months, 2pm · 60 minutes.
Explore a feature exhibition or aspect of the collection in depth with a BMA curator.
BMA Highlights Tour
Saturdays, noon · 45 minutes.
Get to know some of the treasures of the BMA’s collection.
Sunday Shorts
Sundays, 2:30pm · 30 minutes.
Discover the wonder of a single work of art or gallery.
Group Visits
Adult Tours
Book a tour for your group to explore the collection and special exhibitions with a BMA educator. Tours last one hour, and can be tailored to your interests.
Group Tours are $10 per person. Reservations are required six weeks prior to visit. A full, non-refundable payment must be received two weeks before the day of the visit.

School Tours
Bring your class for a free School Tour led by BMA Docents. Find out more or schedule a tour.
Self Guided Tours
Lead your own tour of the Museum. Bring a group and explore together. Leaders of self-guided groups may lecture in the galleries, but BMA Guided Tours have priority over the objects and the spaces. Self-Guided Tours are free. Self-Guided Tours must be booked at least six weeks in advance by completing our tour request form. More information on Self-Guided Tours is available here.
Tours for Visitors with Early Stage Memory Loss
First Thursday of the month, 2pm
This monthly guided tour and discussion with a trained docent is for individuals with early stage memory loss and their care partners. The tour is free, but pre-registration is required through the Alzheimer’s Association. Audio Tours
Enrich your experience with fresh perspectives on art. We have audio tours available on a variety of subjects, many of which are available to download from iTunesU. Bring your own smartphone or device, or borrow a complimentary device at the Welcome Desk. Available in English only. Assisted listening devices are available.
Go Mobile
Go Mobile is a multimedia tour featuring audio tracks with artists, curators, local personalities, and makers, plus images and original videos. Best for the American, Contemporary, African, and Asian art galleries, plus the Imagining Home exhibition.
Countless Stories
The Highlights Audio Tour features artworks from across the collection with a focus on the Modern and European Art galleries. Hear art-inspired stories and poems by celebrated Baltimore writers Laura Lippman, Michael Kimball, and others.
