Members of the Friends of the American Wing and the BMA Council are invited to Pressed, Cut, Molded, and Cracked: Stories in American Glass, an exclusive talk with John Stuart Gordon, the Benjamin Attmore Hewitt Associate Curator of American Decorative Arts at the Yale University Art Gallery. His most recent book is American Glass: The Collections at Yale (2018) and he organized a student-curated exhibition based on his research, titled A Nation Reflected: Stories in Glass, which is on view at the Yale University Art Gallery through September 29, 2019.
