Begun in 2008, the In a New Light Campaign is shaping up to be not only the most ambitious, but also the most successful, philanthropic initiative in the Museum’s history. Gifts from generous donors have empowered the BMA to create opportunities for visitors to make meaningful connections with the collection in the Contemporary Wing, which opened in Fall 2012—and there’s much more to come. New and expanded galleries, improved infrastructure, new resources for conservation, and a stronger endowment.
